I love you, I love everyone in our family, and Goodnight

Awhile ago I wrote a post about the recitations we must give before we say goodnight to the kid. There was an update or revision of those incantations for a good night’s sleep:

“I love you, I love everyone in our family, and Goodnight.”

Then the kid says them back to us. We still have the hug and kiss as well, and 95% of the time there is a request for water.

Sometimes we have to do this all a second time.

Oh well.
